Inuit are one of three constitutionally recognized Indigenous populations in Canada. Although Inuit live throughout Canada, most live in Inuit Nunangat, or “Inuit Homeland”, which is comprised of 53 communities located in four land-claim regions: the Nunatsiavut region in Labrador, the Nunavik region in Quebec, the Territory of Nunavut and the Inuvialuit Settlement Region in the Northwest Territories.

This report explores the experience of Inuit cancer patients and families from screening and diagnosis through to survivorship or palliative care.
