Register now for the Canadian Cancer Research Conference, showcase for recent innovations in research

Canadian Cancer Research Conference logoThis fall, Canada’s cancer research community will come together in Montreal to showcase recent innovations in cancer research and share ideas that will help shape the future of cancer discovery and care.

The 2015 Canadian Cancer Research Conference, to be held November 8-10, is Canada’s only conference devoted to the continuum of cancer research. It is targeted to professionals who work in cancer research.

Conference highlights include:

  • Community Forum on November 9: Hear about the latest research developments from some of Canada’s leading cancer researchers. The Community Forum provides a unique opportunity for the general public and cancer research community to engage and interact.
  • Canadian Partnership for Tomorrow Project (CPTP) information and networking session on November 10: Join the principal investigators of Canada’s largest population health research platform to learn more about CPTP and its potential to inform health programs and policy in Canada. Space is limited so registration is encouraged.

The conference is hosted by the Canadian Cancer Research Alliance (CCRA). This year’s platinum supporters are the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Canadian Partnership Against Cancer and Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé. The Executive Office of the CCRA is supported by the Partnership and the Partnership is a CCRA member organization.

This is the third Canadian Cancer Research Conference. This year’s conference builds upon the successes of the most recent meeting in 2013, which featured 1,000 attendees, 120 plenary and symposium speakers, over 550 poster presentations, and close to 600 abstract submissions.

Registration for the 2015 Canadian Cancer Research Conference is now open. For more information or to register, please visit http://conference.ccra-acrc.ca/
