In this role, she leads complex, strategic initiatives for the Partnership and works directly with partners – cancer agencies, health organizations and health professionals – across Canada to effect changes in the cancer system.
In fall 2018, Ms. Reed led the Partnership’s largest-ever public engagement to update the Canadian Strategy for Cancer Control at the request of the federal government. The Partnership engaged more than 7,500 Canadians, health care providers, health organizations and Indigenous leaders and communities, to better understand the diverse needs, values and priorities of Canadians when it comes to cancer prevention, detection, treatment, survivorship and end-of-life care.
